General description
Is part of the Estancia El Lazo, a livestock centre that dates from the late years of the last century.
The first settlers who lived in this area were Mr. Heede and Mr. Gliman, who built the first constructions by 1894, in the beautiful landscape of Laguna Verde. By 1970, Marcelino Iglesias Estrada, a brave livestock pioneer in the Patagonia, who was born in Asturias (Province of Espana), together with his wife, Catalina Sesnic Plastic, give origin to the actual livestock centre.

The Estancia has 14.000 hectares, and its main activity is the cattle raising of the Hereford breed. From 1998 we have incorporated a comfortable Tourist Resort, where you will enjoy beautiful landscapes with the most attractive flora and fauna of our region, emphasizing the privileged view of the Massif of the Paine, imposing lakes, glaciers and millenary forests.
