There are in total over 30 explorations that depend on duration and physical conditions of the guests.
All these Trekkings are led by bilingual guides of the hotel, young people who live and know the place, and who are more than able to transmit their admiration for it. Explora has 50 suites, all of them with Jacuzzi and decorated in a carefully achieved rustic style with maximum comfort.
How to get there:
To Santiago, Chile, in an international flight, and connect with a 2 ?-hour flight to Calama. explora transfers guests to explora en Atacama by van, about a 1-hour trip.
In the Atacama, the climate is excellent throughout the year, with more than 90% sunny days. During the winter (June, July and August) the average temperature during the day fluctuates between 9?C and 24?C. During the summer (January, February, and March) the temperature is warmer, reaching highs of 32?C. Between January and March, there exists a phenomenon called the Altiplanic Winter, with occasional rain.
